Our Mission

Rock On Alaska is a mobile, community‑powered podcast traveling town to town to uplift local voices, spark connection, promote small businesses and shine a light on the realities from mental health, 'every living being' advocacy, to housing challenges across our state.

"Everyone deserves to have a hot meal, a shower and a safe place to rest their head. It's unfortunate so many of us don't have that. We will make this happen for Alaskan's..."

-The crew

Through storytelling, music, and art, we will create space where Alaskans will be heard, supported, and united. Our long‑term mission is to build a permanent safe haven by 2028 — a place of healing, creativity, and refuge for those in need of help and a fresh start.

"

"I know this is an ambitious vision. I was born and raised in Alaska, and I’ve seen too many people and animals lost to the cold. We are committed to changing that reality...."

This safe haven is going to change the dynamic for us Alaskan's and I hope to be the catalyst and inspiration; ANYTHING is possible with a kind and caring heart."

Genesis 1:26–30 — God entrusts humans with stewardship of all living creatures.

What It Is

A living, growing space filled with natural light, warmth, and green life — open year‑round, even in the darkest months. It’s a place where Alaskan's will step out of survival mode and into a moment of peace.

What It Offers

  • A warm, plant‑filled environment that supports emotional grounding

  • A safe place to sit, rest, reflect, or simply exist without pressure

  • Community connection through shared space and gentle activities

  • Workshops, creative sessions, and skill‑building opportunities

  • Teaching patience, emotional regulation, and practical coping skills through supervised animal care in a warm, plant‑filled setting.

  • Audience: Adults and youth in recovery, veterans, and community volunteers.

  • A sense of belonging for people who feel isolated or unsupported

  • A bridge between crisis and stability

Grounding Center Rescue Sanctuary will pair rescued animals with community members in a warm, plant‑filled setting where Alaskan's learn patience, responsibility, and coping skills. Our program will be and strictly sanitary: animals would undergo veterinary intake and quarantine, participants complete safety and hygiene training, and all interactions will occur under trained supervision with rigorous cleaning protocols. The sanctuary would support animal rehabilitation and adoption while offering participants meaningful, hands‑on pathways to healing.
